Alver

Alver was born one day before his big sisters 10th birthday. He was the most beautiful baby brother, adored and loved from day one. His big brother Gustav, 7, and big sister Vilje were so proud of him and couldn’t take their eyes off of him. Neither could I nor his dad. When Alver was 4 1/2 months he got a fever, some twinkles and strange movements in his face. It turned out to be seizures. At 5 months old he got the diagnosis, Menkes disease. Not inherited, but a de novo mutation. You will forever live on in our hearts. You touched so many with your beautiful soul and you will never ever be forgotten.
