Taner

This is TJ (Taner Jr). He is 2 years and 4 months old. He is the strongest and  most resilient boy I have ever known. He was diagnosed at 4 months old, too late to benefit from the copper histidinate. Since then, he has fought through many horrible symptoms of Menkes, such as seizures, dystonia, hypotonia, severe gastric reflux, gingival swelling, diverticulum, delayed gastric emptying, blindness, tortuous veins & kinky hair.
His life is lived day by day but he is so loved, more than you could ever imagine, and he definitely knows it! He’s his mummy’s best friend and lights up any room! Mum can’t quite believe that this awful disease could one day take him away, it’s just unfathomable and truly and utterly heartbreaking.
