Faisal

Faisal is the third child of the family. His Mum was anxiously expecting him because she could feel inside he was not like other babies. In fact, he kicked in a different way than his sisters. He was born at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital and at five moths old, he was diagnosed with Menkes. His family noticed something was wrong when he was 3 weeks, since he was suffering from severe muscle weakness.

In the beginning, he was a joyful baby but since six months old, he is in constant bad mood due to his disease. He is being treated at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh. He doesn’t get copper histidine. He fights hard every single day.
