Marco is one of those rare cases in which the Menkes diagnosis came shortly after he was born. He started the copper histidinate at 5 days old at the Bambino Gesú and Malaga Materno-Infantil hospital. His dad gives him injections and he attends regular physiotherapy sessions. He is a fighter. He survived a difficult pregnancy in the times of Covid. He smiles a lot. He is the most mystical person I know: he prays each time he looks at the sky, with a sweet and funny baby-voice. God made a mistake: I prayed for a baby but He sent to us an angel.
