This is William, he seems little but he is really strong. He was diagnosed with Menkes when he was 6 months old, so that was too late to start copper histidine injections. In Belgium he is known as the little lion. He has conquered a lot of serious lung problems already and is very hypotonic. His Instagram account has reached thousands of people giving Menkes disease a significant visibility. His Mum is helping MIa to get support and has founded Menkes Belgium known as “Vzw Voor William”. His family will keep on fighting with him to slay the Menkes syndrome!
